I do neuroscience research, with a specialization in consciousness science. I also write short SciFi and philosophy texts. Overall interested in knowledge gaps.

Researcher specialized in cognitive neuroscience, absolute fanatic of philosophy and transdisciplinary problem solver. My interest for the brain was triggered by a high school team project on the effect of pictures on voluntary behaviour. Since then, I have been striving to increase my knowledge on how the human brain works.

Following a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at University of Strasbourg, I completed a Research Master’s in Brain and Cognitive Sciences at University of Amsterdam in 2022. 

My main current research interests are consciousness, subjective perception, metacognition, free will, and moral responsibility. I am especially interested in translational research, i.e., its application in domains such as human health, but also education, justice, and politics.

I have been working as a research consultant for the Cambridge Consciousness and Cognition Laboratory and a research assistant at the Neurophysiology of Consciousness and Critical Care Laboratory in Montreal. I am currently a scientific consultant for Human Experience Dynamics, London, U.K.

In September 2024 I started a PhD at Université de Montréal. My research is focused on better characterizing the neural underpinnings of consciousness and utilizing information-theoretic tools to develop new methods for assisting in the diagnosis and prognosis of patients with disorders of consciousness.
